Marina Corella

Marina decided they wanted to be a Zoologist at the age of 7, so, when they were old enough, they moved away from their home town near Barcelona, in Catalunya, to go study in the UK at University College London. During their degree they also studied abroad at UQ and, after graduating with a Masters in Biological Sciences (Zoology), they are now back to Australia as a Research Assistant in the Fuller Lab. Marina is studying migratory bird species and how different countries are connected by these. They have recently arrived in the world of birds, although they had already volunteered in rescue centres and have rehabilitated birds and other species, including mammals, and reptiles.
